Support for Flex and Rigid-Flex Design
A rigid-flex circuit combines the processing capabilities of a rigid circuit with the design versatility of a flexible one. The bulk of the components are placed on rigid circuits, which are then connected by flexible circuits that can be twisted, bent, and folded into small or unconventional places. Altium Designer now supports electronics design using these rigid-flex circuits, which opens the door to a variety of new innovations.
