This class will give knitters the skills to tweak their garment (during knitting or when finished) so that they will love the end result. Are your finished sleeves so long they'd fit an orangutan? Do you wish you had a pocket in just the right spot to slip your hands? Or maybe you love a particular pattern but hate that it's knit flat rather than in one piece?
This class will also give knitters the confidence to add all those special touches that make a garment their own.
Required Skill level:
Knitters should ideally have finished a sweater or know how they are constructed. Class will be of most use to knitters who ran into problems and wants help figuring out different ways to correct them.
Measuring yourself correctly, problem analysis of sweater, correcting length problems for sleeves and body, basic steeking and afterthought pockets
It's not essential but if possible bring a sweater that you want to alter with you and, if possible, a knitted sweater in a similar weight that fits well (this doesn't have to be hand knit).
Yarn and needles suitable for yarn. Ideally same yarb as used for swatch Crochet hook in size smaller than needle size used for swatch Sharp scissors Measuring tape Tapestry needle
