This book is divided into three sections:
' Section 1 covers basic definitions and the common properties of all polygons. Students study the concept of regular polygon, and are shown examples of the importance of polygons in the world around us.
' Section 1 looks at quadrilaterals and their specific properties.
' Section 3 provides a more detailed look at the properties of six special quadrilaterals (the parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, square, trapezoid and kite), and the similarities and differences between them.
