What are the requirements?
This course will provide complete instructions for using the Tinkercad application. Tinkercad is a free CAD application that runs from a web browser. No prior experience with CAD is needed, although students should be familiar with basic computer skills such as using a mouse, saving files, & navigating folders. The course material works the same for Windows & (Mac) OS X operating systems.
Students familiar with 3D printing (& 3D printers) will discover that any 3D models created with Tinkercad can be printed with a 3D printer or a 3D printing service (such as Shapeways or Sculpteo).
