One of the most common questions I get from people is how they can get into web design. Contrary to popular belief, developing coding knowledge is not necessary to do this anymore (not trying to discredit the importance of coding, but for many people it is not needed to accomplish their goals in web design). Squarspace is one of my favorite platforms to introduce people to web design on because of its ease of use and professional, well-designed templates.
The goal of this course is to, in as little time as possible, get you right into Squarespace and start designing. We won't be going into a lot of detail - the goal is to show you how easy it is to get started, not to bog you down with information. That said, you will be introduced to some very basic UX/UI best practices and even introduced to how you can use CSS snippets to beef up your design (again, no actual writing of code is necessary).
