The Gnomon Workshop: 3D Creature Design ZBrush, Keyshot and Photoshop Techniques with Luis Carrasco

In this lecture, Luis Carrasco uses a combination of ZBrush, Keyshot and Photoshop to take a simple sketch to a fully-rendered concept.
He begins by creating an initial drawing that has just enough information to guide the 3D sculpt. Before starting in ZBrush, he discusses how to customize the interface to improve workflow. Luis then begins with Dynamesh, and throughout the sculpting process shares various techniques to develop the character as a quick and efficient design sculpt. Next, he brings the model into Keyshot, where he renders out basic passes that will be composited and painted over in Photoshop. Textures, Lighting, Materials and a background are developed to create the final realistic look ready for presentation to an Art Director or client.
